How does it work?
Sign up for Skype To Go and add the contacts you'd like to call. As soon as you type in the selected contacts and their phone numbers Skype will provide you with a local phone number (in respect to where you're currently at). This way you'll be able to place an international call for the rates of a local call.
Use of this service for free is limited to one contact only. If you need to call several contacts while using this service you'll have to pay some fees. The number Skype will provide you with can be called via a landline or a mobile phone.
How is it done, you ask?
Log into Skype, select the 'Skype' tab, and then select 'Account':
By selecting this option you'll be redirected to Skype's website. Scroll down until you spot the Skype To Go feature:
After selecting this option, select the 'Give it a try' option in the next screen:
Then, you can read a brief explanation as to how Skype To Go works, or you can proceed to typing in your contact's details:
Once you've finished typing in the required details you'll get your contact's Skype number. Hold on to this number and use it when you need to call your contact.
