Many South American states join forces to create the Federation, a superpower that uses its economic advantage, oil, to declare war on the United States. In this instalment, two brothers and their dog find themselves fighting to regain their homeland. Your arsenal will consist of advanced weapons, gadgets and your wits. As with all of the previous instalments to the franchise, Call of Duty: Ghost starts with cinematic experience that will knock you off your feet. Also like the other titles in the series, the single player mode does not really focus as much on tactics, as it does on the player’s reaction time, skills and memory.
The multiplayer mode is also obviously available and has a new customization system. With this system, players can customize their character with almost 20,000 options available to choose from. The game also brings in 20 new Killstreaks, 14 new maps and 7 new game modes.
In fact, fans of the Call of Duty franchise were excited when Ghost was released, but many were expecting more. There wasn’t as much of a leap forward from previous games, which other instalments in the series have had. The resolution of the graphics is not suitable for today’s consoles, and while the mechanics of the game are good, many fans would have liked to have seem some sort of advancement overall. However, Call of Duty: Ghost offers plenty of entertainment for fans of the multiplayer mode, which is the strongest feature so the game is worth a try.
