CommView for WiFi is designed to monitor and analyze network packets on wireless 802.11 a/b/g networks. It collects information from the wireless adaptor and decodes the analyzed data.
With CommView for WiFi you’ll be able to see a list of network connections and additional IP crucial statistical data and even examine individual packets. Packets can be decoded using user defined WEP or WPA-PSK keys and can be decoded down to the most basic layers including full analysis of most common protocols. In addition the software program allows access to raw data. Packets can be saved in log files for future analysis. A flexible system of filters makes it possible to skip irrelevant packets or to capture the important ones. Customizable alerts can notify users about important events such as suspicious packets, high bandwidth usage or unknown addresses.
CommView for WiFi includes a VoIP module for in-depths analysis, recording and playback of SIP and H.323 voice communications.
