Google, Yahoo, and other major search engines track your internet activity. Many people are concerned about having such information tracked, and the DuckDuckGo add-on was created with them in mind. When you download the add-on, three things will happen. You will be able to see the add-on’s instant answers on Google and Bing. You will also get a toolbar, which offers you the chance to access !bang tags easily. Finally, DuckDuckGo will replace your current default search engine for when you conduct searches in the address bar or search bar. The first two of these things are removable while you can manually change your default search engine should you choose to do so.
This add-on never collects information with which you could be personally associated.
