Enlisted is generally a squad-based game, played in the first person. It’s an MMO shooter which is all about the key battles from World War II. In the game, the weapons, the overall atmosphere of the WWII era, and the military vehicles are carefully recreated.
Massive clashes between armies are realistically represented. So are the naval support, tanks, and aircrafts armored with artillery. At the very beginning, players can fight in the famous “Battle for Moscow”.
This level recreates the fiercest battle between the Soviet and the German troops on the outskirts of the capital of Russia. Along with the “Normandy Invasion” which covers the very famous D-Day landing and the battles which followed it, this game is a “war revival” in a modern video game.
Other campaigns are now in development, like, for example, the “Battle for Berlin” and many more.
However, at the very core of the game are the soldiers’ battle cries which get drowned by the never-ending thunders of heavy artillery and gunfire.
Planes continuously soar above the soldiers’ heads while tanks follow their roar by steadily trundling on the ground.
