Fans of Mac games should be familiar with the name Ambrosia software. They are the gods of game making. They are pacesetters at making action-packed and original games that can take the thirty-something gamer back to the row of arches of the early 1990s. Ferazel’s Wand takes you into the cape of Ferazel, the left out of the free Habnabits. The game puts you in a position where you are on a mission to destroy the evil Manditraki race having Queen Xichra as the head of the clan. The game consists of 23 levels of landscape to leap so as to conquer the insectoid horde.
Ferazel’s Wand looks more like a console action game because of its outlook which has the look of a side-scroller. However, be ready to move up, down and backwards as you journey through the lands of Teraknorn.
Designed and developed by Ambrosia, Ferazel’s Wand for Mac is a game that places more emphasis on mind games rather than physical battle. Farazel’s Wand is a side-scrolling run and jump game from Ambrosia Software. This game, by virtue of its ability, strikes a pleasing compromise that makes users of all ages thoroughly satisfied.
Ferazel’s Wand is not an easy game to play. Although the first level is relatively easy even for newbies, the game gets technical and harder as you progress. It becomes a little bit confusing towards the third of the way into the game specifically when the condition of the environs becomes slippery with a high wind and the ice requires more precise control of your character. In addition, in order to prevent you from quitting because of frustration, the game permits a ‘save’ option only in specific locations; but that does not make the game less-intriguing. Ferazel’s Wand is a bit difficult for new gamers, but promises to be a welcome challenge for experienced gamers.
