MP3 Torpedo is a fork of the incredibly popular file sharing program LimeWire, which is part of the Gnutella network. MP3 Torpedo was created to maintain the freedom of the LimeWire program once LimeWire was forced to cease production and withdraw.
LimeWire was forced to desist in 2010 by a US Federal Court.
