Shadow Fight 2 is basically a sort of reproduction of the Street Fighter series. This arcade style fighting game places you in one on one competition with other fighters. You will be rewarded with coins as you fight, and if you win, you will receive additional coins. These coins are then used to purchase new weapons, armor and other items to help you advance through tougher opponents.
Overall, Shadow Fight 2 is a decent game. However, unlike many of the other fighting games you are used to, while the game does have a decent combat system, it is slow. That in itself is not a bad thing. However, the methods you use for faster games will not work with this one. You will have to study your opponent and time your attacks. The controls are simple with only a directional and a punch and kick button.
Pressing the two simultaneously while moving the directional button a certain way will let you perform different moves. Like many of today’s free-to-play games, there are plenty of in-app purchases you can make. One of the largest issues with the game is that it has an energy meter. Every time you fight, your energy goes down. Once you run out, you have to wait for your meter to refill before you can fight again. Not a great game, but not a horrible one either. If you want a simple fighting game, then Shadow Fight 2 might be just what you are looking for.
