Immerse yourself in this open world virtual version of this small town in Colorado, South Park. You play as the new kid in town, named Douchebag, and have to find the “Stick of Truth”. Your goal is to locate this ancient artifact and save humanity.
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the same company that brought you Star Wars: KOTOR II and Fallout New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth is sure to please gamers and series fans alike. As the new kid in town, you will receive your orders from Cartman. Kenny, Butter, Stan and many other characters from the series are also found in the game. If you are not familiar with South Park, be warned that this game features a great deal of toilet humor and can be vulgar, insulting and provocative. If you are sensitive to this type of content, you should probably stay away from this title. However, if you are a fan, you are going to love it.
Obsidian Entertainment has done a great job with this title, bringing you plenty of ridiculous dialog and hilarity. The game boast a great combat system that is innovative, as well as plenty of hidden quests and surprises. The PC controls can be complex and is really the only drawback to South Park: The Stick of Truth and it is recommended that you play using a controller. Reminiscent of Japanese RPGs, and loaded with humor and great graphics, fans of the series are going to be pleased with this game.
