An XSPF file is a playlist file that has been saved in the XML Shareable Playlist Format (also known as XSPF).
It utilizes tags to keep files organizes within the playlist and is very similar to a M3U file, except for the fact that it uses standard XML. The XPSF file does not contain any audio, merely a mention of other audio files.
