Arknights is a tower defense puzzle game. Every level is a challenge of its own that players can finish in at least one way. It’s also a gacha game since it lets you roll for units that you position on the right locations to beat your enemies.
Every unit type has its own class with unique abilities and use. Some of the classes are snipers who can attack at long range and medics that heal your units. The game is quite simple to play, but it is challenging.
It’s addictive and feels quite rewarding when you beat a difficult level or a boss. The game doesn’t have a multiplayer option or PVP mode. At the same time, players can grind to get achievements, power-ups, and stronger unit types.
Arknights has a unique co-op system that lets players trade with credits and borrow units from each other. The visual element of the game is also nicely designed. Arknights is a unique game because it’s a TD/puzzle hybrid but also because it has anime visuals.
Even though it’s not a AAA game with astonishing graphics, the drawings and animations look amazing, creating a nice feel to the game.
