Take care of your dragons by building suitable habitats and breeding them to unlock new types of dragons. Feed and train your young dragons to be fearless defenders for your people. Use your skills in tactical combat to defeat the attacking hordes of Vikings and bring peace to your homeland. The developer Gameloft is skilled at taking existing ideas and adding their own unique elements to them and that is what they have done with Dragon Mania Legends. The game offers plenty of dragon types that you can unlock.
The turn-based RPG fighting focuses more on the planning for attacks and is not as focused on your reactions. You select the target you want to attack, and with what type of attack to use that would cause the most damage to your enemy. Players will have to learn the skills and capabilities of the various dragon types in order to effectively fight of the attacking Vikings.
You can also enter your dragons into head-to-head combat with other players in online play. While the game offers plenty to do with many options to choose from, the overall gameplay is simple to learn. Gameloft did a great job on the graphics of the game, as well as the sound effects and music. Beyond that however, the game has an almost generic feel with the lack of any innovative features. It is still an interesting game to play, and will keep you interested for a while.
