From the makers of Half-Life, Left 4 Dead is a new survival horror FPS that will exceed your expectations. Each scenario is better than the last, with its own unique zombies that will give you a run for your money. Just like in 28 Days Later, you have to fight off athletic and lightning fast zombies who will run after you until or unless you get rid of them or die trying. There is no denying the fact that the attention to detail will make an impression.
Starting with four survivors, you and your team (human players or AI) need to make your way through each scenario until you reach your destination. You can do so with stealth or guns blazing, whichever you prefer. The game is not for the faint of heart and is an adult game. You can expect a lot of expletives, gore and blood. If you are a fan of the horror genre, you will love the game that much is certain.
The controls work relatively well and are quite effective. The physics and graphics along with sound deliver an exceptional experience and make the game terrifyingly good. Considering the pace of the game, you will feel a real sense of panic and will find yourself shooting at empty spaces merely out of fright. The game is well paced and one of the finest survival horror FPS you can possibly get your hands and it should be played by anyone who is a fan of the genre.
