The Tab Mix Plus extension makes it easier for you to manage and recover your Firefox sessions by providing you with several simple tools. For example, you can duplicate tabs, reopen closed tabs and windows, and control tab focus. Duplicating tabs could be useful if you want to have different parts of the same page open at the same time. The feature that lets you reopen closed tabs and windows is extremely useful in case you ever accidentally close something that you wanted to keep open or you forget to do something on a particular page.
Although Tab Mix Plus comes with a set of default settings, you can choose to adjust them by using “about:config” in the URL bar and then narrowing your results by typing “extensions.tabmix” in the filter box. If you would prefer, you can also choose to adjust your preferences in the prefs.js file that will appear in your user profile directory.
