Just about everyone that uses a computer has used one of the Microsoft Office programs such as Word or Excel before. They’ve become industry standards in word and data processing and presentation creation and display. The licences for this suite of programs can be prohibitively expensive however, and many people just can’t afford them.<br>Kingsoft Office has stepped up to provide a similar service without the hefty price tag. The suite has been designed to resemble the 2003 version of Office, and those who’ve used it will find the similarities quite comforting. Kingsoft Writer replaces Microsoft Word; letting you write, edit and print text documents in much the same way. Kingsoft Spreadsheets replaces Microsoft Excel; giving you the same powerful number crunching abilities, as well as all the formulas that have made Excel such a versatile tool. Kingsoft Presentation replaces Microsoft Powerpoint; letting you put together a slideshow presentation, then display it once you’re finished.<br>In the interest of integration, the Kingsoft Office suite uses all the same file extensions and Microsoft Office, meaning that any work you do in Kingsoft can be viewed and edited in Office, and vice versa. Kingsoft Office also features a Google Search toolbar that gives you access to the Internet within your work space.
Similar to Microsoft Office, but cheaper
